My personal favorite book of his is <b>Live Right for Your Type</b>. It gets into the science behind inflammatory foods and foods that make us tired, give us poor immune systems, and and other chronic ailments and common diseases. I have about four of his books. There is a guide to supplements and herbs, as well as an Encyclopedia of health complaints and protocols to heal each one. I also have the pocket guide for my blood type diet ; ) This diet helped me to be able to sleep and exercise again, by taking away about 80% of my fibromyalgia related joint pain!!!<br />

Loneliness gets to some more than others. But why it hangs on isn't always apparent when read by traditional medical eyes. In my psychiatric practice in Los Angeles and in my workshops I've been struck by how many sensitive, empathic people who I call "emotional empaths" come to me, lonely, wanting a romantic partner, yet remaining single for years. Or else they're in relationships but feel constantly fatigued and overwhelmed. The reason isn't simply that "there aren't enough emotionally available people 'out there,'" nor is their burnout "neurotic." Personally and professionally, I've discovered that something more is going on.</div><div style="border-bottom-style: none; border-color: initial; border-left-style: none; border-right-style: none; border-top-style: none; border-width: initial; list-style-image: initial; list-style-position: initial; list-style-type: none; margin-bottom: 14px; margin-left: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-top: 0px; padding-bottom: 0px; padding-left: 0px; padding-right: 0px; padding-top: 0px;">In "Emotional Freedom" I describe emotional empaths as a species unto themselves. Whereas others may thrive on the togetherness of being a couple, for empaths like me, too much togetherness can be difficult, may cause us to bolt. Why? We tend to intuit and absorb our partner's energy, and become overloaded, anxious, or exhausted when we don't have time to decompress in our own space. We're super-responders; our sensory experience of relationship is the equivalent of feeling objects with 50 fingers instead of five. Energetically sensitive people unknowingly avoid romantic partnership because deep down they're afraid of getting engulfed. Or else, they feel engulfed when coupled, a nerve-wracking, constrictive way to live. If this isn't understood, empaths can stay perpetually lonely. We want companionship, but, paradoxically, it doesn't feel safe. One empath patient told me, "It helps explain why at 32 I've only had two serious relationships, each lasting less than a year." Once we empaths learn to set boundaries and negotiate our energetic preferences, intimacy becomes possible.</div><div style="border-bottom-style: none; border-color: initial; border-left-style: none; border-right-style: none; border-top-style: none; border-width: initial; list-style-image: initial; list-style-position: initial; list-style-type: none; margin-bottom: 14px; margin-left: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-top: 0px; padding-bottom: 0px; padding-left: 0px; padding-right: 0px; padding-top: 0px;">For emotional empaths to be at ease in a relationship, the traditional paradigm for coupling must be redefined. Most of all, this means asserting your personal space needs -- the physical and time limits you set with someone so you don't feel they're on top of you. Empaths can't fully experience emotional freedom with another until they do this. Your space needs can vary with your situation, upbringing, and culture. My ideal distance to keep in public is at least an arm's length. With a mate it's variable. Sometimes it's rapture being wrapped in his arms; later I may need to be in a room of my own, shut away. One boyfriend who truly grasped the concept got me a "Keep Out" sign for my study door! For me, this was a sign of true love. All of us have an invisible energetic border that sets a comfort level. Identifying and communicating yours will prevent you from being bled dry by others. Then intimacy can flourish, even if you've felt suffocated before. Prospective mates or family members may seem like emotional vampires when you don't know how to broach the issue of personal space. You may need to educate others -- make clear that this isn't about not loving them -- but get the discussion going. <b>Solstice Recovery</b><br />

I don't know about you, but the few days leading up to the solstice, I thought I might spontaneously combust. There was so much energy running through my body that I was positive I would blow a circuit... and if there was a self-destruct button on me, I definitely would have pushed it. From the 19th-21st I was so played-out and genuinely miserable that I found myself day-dreaming about what it would be like to be dead.<br />
<br />
I guess I should have been prepared, but naively, I wasn't. It's not that don't know how powerful these gateways & portals are, its that I forget. Every. Single. Time.<br />
<br />
But this wave officially left me capsized. Inevitably I started to think...and unfortunately, NOT with my heart. When I was completely overturned, I began to wonder if the indigo in me had become too idealistic??? Worse yet, did I fall prey to, and eat a giant piece of that pie-in-the-sky?<br />
<br />
And just when I was starting to stabilize and tuck those weary, exhausted and please-god-let-this-be-over thoughts away in a safe space...BAAAM! A new wave of energy (I think this may have been from that earthquake in Ontario) came creeping around the corner and knocked me back on my haunches in a head-on collision with hell.<br />
<br />
To top that off, the upcoming lunar eclipse is hanging over us like a smiling cheshire cat, pulsating with the potential of life-altering change that is just aching to tear into any remaining limitations that we honor.<br />
<br />
I mean, seriously...what <i>does </i>the bottom look like?<br />
<br />
For those of you unfamiliar with my updates, I really try, but just can't help talking about the ridiculousness of this process and why we agreed to partake in it. I am not <i>trying </i>to be fatuous, this journey just pulls it out of me. And honestly, this shtick is getting just as tired and played-out as I am, but these experiences are so over-the-top and relentless that I find myself facing the same two choices each time I report to you:<br />

1) I can release my frustration with the absurdity of this process through transparency, humor and inanity...or...<br />
<br />
2) I can do to YOU what the unseens do to ME...tell you how amazing and revolutionary this whole process is...while you throw tomatoes at my website.<br />

And if you do anyway...well, I TOTALLY get that. (Secretly, I wish I had someone to throw tomatoes at.)<br />

Luckily tho, I hear there may be some things to look forward to, starting with the Lunar Eclipse this week.<br />
<br />
The unseens have been chatting a lot about our physical vessels lately...probably because we have all been looking for the eject button...and I think its because the grounding process we have been working through is in fact, a very physical one. (The lower 3 chakras, which are clearing and therefore pushing the hardest right now, are those responsible for balancing our spiritual selves in physical form.)<br />

<b>The Lunar Eclipse</b><br />
<br />
The latest information goes something like this....there is an upcoming partial lunar eclipse happening on June 26th and I am told this eclipse is a great harbinger of hope and healing for humanity (and not a second too soon). Apparently, it represents a demarcation point for those who have completed the reconnection phase as well as for those just beginning their new-human genetic activations.<br />

With it, will most likely come some global upheaval, but as always these will be the impetus to create lasting change.<br />
<br />
For those of you connected to and conscious of the energies streaming into the planet, you may be feeling it already, but we can expect a period of unrest that surrounds this lunar event...a feeling of unsettledness, but one that will dissipate as the moon wanes.<br />

<b>The Big Push</b><br />
<br />
There is a timed solar activation (I'm pretty sure they mean from the solstice gateway to the solar eclipse on July 11th) that is triggering a biological purification completion for the path-paver group, and from this period on, as I understand it, we are officially rescinding from this phase of the journey.<br />

These codes are also responsible for lifting those with elevated light quotients to soul embodiment. Unlike any other activation that we have experienced to date, I am told that this activation is the "big push" and one of "<i>purposeful retreating from the lower realms of physical existence.</i>" (I guess the commander-in-chief...aka God...has finally decided to pull the battle weary brigade & first infantry division from the front line. Boy, that didn't take long.)<br />

The most important component of this activation is the reconnection of the 12th strand of DNA (as discussed in the last<a href="http://galactic-times.blogspot.com/" style="color: #c94093; outline-color: initial; outline-style: none; outline-width: initial; text-decoration: none;">Galactic Times post</a>), and the physical changes that we will eventually feel will be a direct result of this refusing.<br />

Together, this timed solar activation and the completion of our DNA reconnection is slated to anchor us in zero-point and propel us to physical stabilization.<br />

Following the lunar eclipse will begin a period of distinct biological mutation as well as a time to make important choices.<br />

Our experiences between the lunar and solar eclipse will vary depending on our stage of genetic reconnection, but for many it will be a time to make the permanent switch from depending on external sources for sustenance, to becoming completely self-sustainable and relying on the inner-self to not only survive, but to thrive in the new environment.<br />

<b>Physical Happenings</b><br />

We are definitely still in between the new and old. On one hand you may continuing to wrap up past details (finances, legal matters, relocation, old business endeavors, relationships,etc), and on the other, your new life is coming more clearly into view...albeit one piece at a time...and patiently waiting for you to make the full transition. Kind of like you moved to a new house but you are still unpacking your boxes and have not quite settled into your new life, met your new neighbors, or figured out where the grocery store is. Flashes of new opportunities may be popping up on your new landscape & you may be feeling intense pressure to get a lot of things done (so much to do, so little time), however, we can't quite move fully forward with one foot still in the old world.<br />
<br />
This will change soon and we will be supported to embark upon those journeys that we have dreamed about for years, but not until the integration is complete and we are completely cut loose from the past.<br />
<br />
And the same energy of the eclipse period that is restructuring our outer life to match our inner being to become self-sustainable, is also happening on a biological level. As we cut each cord completely from our past, our biology shifts...or mutates...to align with our future. We are becoming self-contained energy pods capable of re-energizing ourselves from our core source of power.<br />

<b>Physical Symptoms</b><br />

The symptom list is a long one this time around, so I will offer a truncated version of the most disturbing: We are still clearing the physical, base-level chakras, so there is lots of discomfort to be found <i>down there.</i>..urogential discomfort, frequent urination & elimination, intestinal distress and cramping, BLOATING, extreme lower back back pain, soreness and vulnerability, sore legs and feet.<br />
<br />
There is also a lot of energy running down our antennas (spine) which is causing anxiety, restlessness, disconnection, back pain, spine soreness from neck and shoulders to tailbone, flue-like aches all over, profuse sweating & chills, inability to get and stay warm, night sweats, in addition to heart palpitations, crown buzzing, pulling & vibrating, ocular (3d eye) headaches & migraines, burning/itchy/watery eyes, indigestion and nausea, ravenous hunger bouts, then indifference to food, sore throats & ear aches, deep unreasonable fatigue, insomnia, etc.<br />
<br />
There is also more inter-dimensional access so you may be noticing lots of psychic activity, visible beings and energies, lights and orbs, and even time-line bleed thrus, etc. This has increased since May and is a solid indication of the increase in your rate of vibration.<br />
<br />
I could go on and on with this list, but the bottom line is we are shaking off lots of old energy on every level of our being and as always this requires a period of adjustment which equals discomfort.<br />
<br />
The Pleiadians say that right now its very important to not keep this energy stuck or contained within the body...we do this by worrying or getting attached to the process. To ease the discomfort they say to visualize the energy running thru you and into the earth continuously when you are downloading massive currents. And if it gets really unbearable, it will help to move your body so the energy can move on out and bring relief.<br />
<br />
The most important thing to remember is that detoxing is hard work and most of it is mental...so try to stay out of fear whenever you are taken over by a healing crisis as this will allow for the energy to pass thru you much more rapidly. These god-awful days always pass and are now passing VERY quickly, so be sure to stay in your center and... instead of dreading these inevitable changes, try to look forward to them : ))<br />

Things that trigger ascension symptoms are as varied and diverse as life itself. There are natural occurring events in nature that happen on Earth that undeniably affect everyone on it, whether they recognize it or not. These events include earthquakes, volcanoes, tsunamis, strong weather patterns, floods, solar flares, eclipses, full moons, asteroids, etc…. There are also unnatural occurring events and disasters like airline crashes, train crashes, terrorist attacks, etc…. Events that really impact sensitive ones are when there is a sudden and huge loss of life or displacement. Examples of this would be the 9/11 terrorist attacks, the Asian tsunami in 2004, hurricane Katrina, and the very recent earthquake in Haiti.<br />

All of these shifts and changes are part of the natural process of evolution and ascension. These changes can cause sensitive ones a great deal of wide ranging, and sometimes, very scary, un-diagnosable symptoms. Physically, we can feel exhausted, anxious, nauseous, dizzy, fuzzyheaded, headaches and experience insomnia. We can have tightness in the chest, an empathic heart ache, a feeling of suffocating and/or a feeling of being trapped. We can have wild migrating pains all throughout the body, wild pangs of hunger or not wanting to eat at all. Emotionally, we might feel that something is missing in our life or lose interest in the many things life in this dimension has to offer. We can suffer a lack of ambition and are plagued with procrastination. We might have the urgency to run, move, escape, quit our jobs, and leave our relationships. We are obsessed to find paradise, sanctuary, nirvana, Shambala, etc….<br />

Many can feel pulses of energy building, but do not know what this means. Because we don’t know what this means, we take it personally. When we take it personally, we quit talking to each other, because we are embarrassed of our strange symptoms. We feel somehow that we are a failure for feeling these things. We might feel that we are not spiritual enough or advanced enough. Many times we have been called hypochondriacs. Because of this, we isolate ourselves, and we become hermits. This is not how we honor the gift God gave us.<br />

Being a sensitive one is a divine gift. If we want to honor this gift that was given to us, then we must be compelled to develop it, and use it for the greater good. We believe that the Creator of ALL that is, God, or whatever higher power you believe in, feels absolutely everything. The further we wake up, the more we will feel. We are hoping that this group will help you realize that your sensitivities are a gift, and not a curse.<br />

We are hoping that with your participation in this group, WE, the Earth’s sensitives, will be able to step back, and begin to realize that we are all feeling similar things. When we realize this, we can quit taking it personally. This will help us all physically and emotionally to detach, so we can survive and have the energy to fulfill our destiny. But, last week I started on a new medication, Cymbalta, for my pain (back and body) , depression and anxiety and it has made me struggle more with insomnia. I did not get enough sleep for about a week. I usually require 10-12 hours of sleep a night and if I don't get this I battle several infections at once. I got a sinus infection from not sleeping and I also restrained my back from vacuuming for the first time last week (since I herniated a disk in my back last year). I realized that taking the Cymbalta at night, was contributing to my insomnia. So, I decided to start taking it in the morning. Now I am sleeping better but, not anywhere as good as I was sleeping on my last sedating antidepressant (Mirtazapine). I have finally started catching up on my sleep and now my sinus infection is going away and my back strain is also feeling better....so, today I have energy and want to start unpacking. But, I know the dust from the boxes (even if I wear a dust mask) will give me another sinus infection and unpacking will cause more back pain. I also want to do my physical therapy exercises but, I am afraid that it is too soon to do these after the sprain. I think I need to let my SI joints heal and stabilize a little more. So, get your colon healthy. <br /><br />One way to do this is to follow the blood type diet. Why do I say this? I say this because, it is a low lectin diet. Lectins that react with your biochemistry in undesirable ways cause inflammation and deterioration in the colon. If you follow the blood type diet, and get on a diet that is compatable with your colon it can rejuvenate and heal your colon, thus making you feel more happy. <br /><br />If you are already following the blood type diet and you are still not feeling the best you can feel, try eliminating gluten from you diet. Your blood type diet plan may not suggest this, but, you may also be gluten sensitive. This is one of the only flaws that I have found with this diet. But, it was picked up by Dr. D'Adamo (the creator of the blood type diet) when I went to visit him in person. Since, not everybody can visit Dr. D'Adamo in person, to get a more personalized diet plan, just experiment. <br /><br />One indication of having a gluten intolerance, if having a more lines on the palms of your hands than people around you. The more lines you have on your palms the worse the integrity of your colon. This is something I discovered by going to Dr. D'Adamo's Clinic and also by studying the blood type diet myself, and becoming a practitioner. So, gluten may be causing inflammation and degradation in your colon, if you have a lot of lines on the palms of your hands. <br /><br />Depression can also be caused from emotional causes, as well, as physical. If you are surrounding yourself with people and making life choices that don't support your soul's purpose or mission...you may start to feel depressed. You may feel like the universe is not supporting you and helping you on your path to happiness. Well, this is easy to change. My Infectious disease doctor just put me on, what she deemed to be a far less toxic antiviral (after telling her I still have antibodies toward HHV-6, which is different than genital herpes and cold sores) called, Symmetrel. I also have to make sure that I am not hungry before bed, as I can't get sleep if I am. So, I snack before bed. I also wear a sleeping mask, ear plugs and make sure my surroundings are as comfortable and calm as possible.<br /><br />If you get the sleep that your body needs...you can actually have energy. Yes! It is possible to have energy and feel good even if you have Fibromyalgia or Chronic Fatigue. It may take years before you get to this point (like it took for me). But, it is possible to accomplish. When I was sick at first, I had to sleep ALL DAY. Now my sleep needs vary. Some days I sleep 9 hours. Some days I sleep 12 hours. It all depends on how I feel that day or week. (SP p.8) </blockquote> <h3>Prayer works:</h3> <p>As we truly understand and practice together the power of prayer, we recognize that our prayers are answered as we extend our love.
